One of the things I do to stay sharp on my coaching is to learn from and with other coaches. Sometimes thats a call with a peer, other times a text on the phone and sometimes a snippet from a talk. Today I was learning from one of the great coaches of our time, Steve Hardison. As I am watching the talk he brings up an interesting idea: “Stop Taking & Start Giving” wich inspired me to write this post.
Just imagine a world in which most people are mainly focused on what they can give instead of what they can take…. how they can contribute vs. how they are entertained…how they create vs. how they consume. Wow, that sounds like a pretty positive, interesting and entertaining world, doesn’t it? Imagine yourself in that world.
This is something I want to do more of in 2024 - Stop Taking and Start Giving.
