This family portrait was in February exactly 10 years ago... We had just moved to the US.
When we left Sydney it was the peak of summer, when we arrived in Ann Arbor it was the middle of what they called a "polar vortex". A chilly winter storm that would last for weeks.
The kids were still babies, heck Naura and I were still babies.
I can't believe that's a decade ago.
Life goes fast.
Press Pause once in a while, hug your loved ones and just enjoy where you are at.
I love looking back as well. From time to time my wife and I love to watch pictures we had taken years ago (instead of watching the tv). The 10 years span is a bit special for us, because a little more than 10 years ago we got married for the second time – reunited after a split of about 7 years – and today both of us look at this as the best thing ever...
